Board breaks right for a pass rushing 1/3 tech. No change.

2)Stephone Anthoney LB
Same. Great speed in pass rushing and brings it in rush defense. (Their pick: Mario Edwards DE)


3) Byron Jones CB
RKG - huge upside - waiting on the 40 time at his pro day.
WR Dorsett shot up the board.


4) zack zenner - RB
This kid is fun to watch. RKG. Quick and compact. Put up huge numbers when he was the only thing working on offense.

Well I liked the 1st 2 rounds (although I don't think Brown will fall to 27)...not so much after.

I think there are a lot of CB's that will be available that have MUCH better game tape. Jones has freakish athletic ability but he really wasnt that great in college.

And sorry but you're not selling me on Zenner in the 4th...no way no how.

I think you are right about Brown. Just playing out the Drafttek scenario. What CB would you take? Doran Grant?

In the 3rd? Tough to really say who will be available, but I'll recommend you take a look at Josh Shaw and Eric Rowe. Both are over 6' 200 pounds and both ran sub 4.5 40's. Both were much better players than Jones was in college imo, and both have the same kind of size and speed.

Not sure he'll last but Steve Nelson from Oregon St is a really great fit for our system as well.

I don't see Brown being available.

Jones will go earlier if be runs well. I don't want him if he does not run well.

Malcolm Brown might be rated more highly than any of this guys anyway....for all we know.
McShay has Gurley 13, Brown 14, Gordon, 23, Johnson 27....so you never know.
In any case,he's a great prospect.

Zenner should go in the 6th or later. But Cowboys do not have a 6th. Burning a 4th on him would be a head scratcher, especially b/c he is projected to be a FB at next level.
