(Gurley, Gordon, Peters off board)

Trade down with Raiders who picked BPA in Leonard Williams with the 4th overall because the Titans take Marriota and Jaguars take a pass rusher in Beasley or Fowler.

They move up to our pick to get Dorial Becham Green. We receive their 2nd, swap 3rd rounds, and also get their 6th.

2(35 - OAK) CB - Q. Rollins
I feel like Corner backs will start going early after the 1st round. 3rd rated CB with good instincts, plays the ball, leaper (basketball background), and tackles. (Carr a June 1st cut?)

2(60) RB - T. Coleman
Only reason he drops this far is because of his surgery. My 3rd Rated RB.

3(68 - OAK) LB - Paul Dawson
Pro Day got him better results but not a great 40. We sign RoMac but we also get a potential starter who can come in to fill all LB positions. OUR insurance at LB who looks better on film.

4(127) WR/KR - S. Diggs
5(163) OL - J. Poutasi
6(179 - OAK) DE - A. Chickillo
7 CB - T. Walker
7 DT - Tyeler Davison

UDFA
QB - Chris Bonner
The flavor of the week and since we are looking to add a QB prospect. Small school QB with tools that can be developed.

CBs that can't break 4.5 in the forty fail more often than not.

Personally 40 times are good to look at. When I watch a CB I look for fluidity that enables them to stick with wide receivers. I feel like Rollins has that. A 4.57 doesn't look good but I am sure the majority of these players aren't track stars. Dez is an example and Richard Sherman ran a 4.56. When you put pads on it matters how much of that speed you can use and translate on the field. Rollins is a physical CB and because of this, he will be able to jam at the line and with time and proper technique allow him to stick with his assignments.

I like Poutasi and Diggs, but you may need to swap rounds.

I would never us a 2vd rder

POTENTIAL SOUNDS LIKE A UDFA IN MY BOOK

Not as important in our scheme.

The Seahawks CB's didn't run great 40's..Sherman 4.59 Browner 4.63

A Free Safety that runs a 4.7 is a much bigger problem in the scheme IMO.

Although, I love a fast, athletic CB as much as anyone. CB's are usually the best athletes on the team.

Whats the deal with CB Steven Nelson from Oregon St?

I read some reports that he would be a perfect Tampa 2 type CB

I think you're crazy. Rollins is a legit 2nd rounder.

http://BAN-INCOMING-IN-3-2-1/college/MiamiofOhio_logo.gif Quinten Rollins, CB, Miami (Ohio)
    Height: 5-11. Weight: 195.
    40 Time: 4.57.
    Projected Round (2015): 2-3.

3/21/15: Rollins was a two-sport star who also started on the basketball team. He was the 2014 MAC Defensive Player of the Year with 72 tackles, seven interceptions, four tackles for a loss, one forced fumble and nine passes broken up. Rollins needs to fill out his frame for the next level, but playing basketball could have held him back in that regard. Rollins is sticking with football for the NFL. His time at the Senior Bowl showed that he is raw and needs development, but he has a skill set to work with. At the Combine, Rollins hurt his stock by running slow in the 40.

    Personal: Son of Kendra Rollins.

He looks like an excellent slot CB. He is smallish for the outside. He is more ready-now than some of the higher rated guys. Reminds me of Scandrick but smaller frame.

Another defender the Cowboys have shown interest in and will be following up on is cornerback Quentin Rollins out of Miami (Ohio). Per NFL insider Rand Getlin, the 'Boys are one of four teams scheduled to meet with and/or work out the CB.

I'm sure you are disappointed. After Peters, Waynes, & Johnson. There's Rollins, Williams, and Jones. One of those three and I would not be disappointed.

Not a fan of Dawson, I'd consider McKinney or Perryman at #60 and take a RB in the 3rd. Duke Johnson would fulfill the committee we have. I need to watch some more CB tape, don't really have a grasp on the prospects this year other than reports from online.

Did Mo also look fluid to you ?

There is a reason Sheehan was not a rd 1 pick

You don't draft based on exceptions

You know what Claiborne did not look fluid to me. Ran very straight line and linear not really able to drop his hips. BUT I trusted the FO in their evaluation and saying he was their best rated CB since (Forgot who) Newman?

Just to make it clear, I want a CB in the first two rounds. I like Rollins and Williams as 2nd tier guys because they show the aggressiveness we lack at that position. they are also fluid type of CBs. Handsy but they can be taught with technique.

The reason why I don't like Duke or Abdullah is we have smallish RBs in our team right now. I understand they are stocky but i feel like we have a simillar player in R. Williams. We need a grind it out bigger RB. Ajayi and Coleman come to mind in the 2nd. Even the USC back in the fourth.
