Sorry but I stopped reading when I saw that you have us taking Hundley at 27.

I won't take him in the 1st 3 rounds and I am a UCLA alumni.

Hundley is the last scenario. Why are you down on him? Dallas knows more about Romo than we do. If they feel he may only make two more years. Hundley would be a great prospect. If he stayed another year, he would be in the top 10 of the 2016 draft.

No way. He could have repeated UCLA for 4 more years and still be a marginal prospect. IMO.
You either have a feel to play a position or you don't. He CANNOT FEEL PRESSURE. He doesn't know when to take off and run or throw it away. He is the MOST SACKED QB in college football over the past 3 years. UCLA doesn't have the worse OL in the world. It's on him.

Interesting point. Seems like he has all the tools, but if he can't feel pressure, he may never have it. Hard to tell with his ability to run. Was he not waiting long enough or just think he could out run others? His numbers are really good.

Even his own coach says he is not ready for the NFL. I don't recall a HC ever saying that about a QB prospect they coach going into the draft. That is a red flag and just another sign, IMO that he is one of those players that people ignore the tape of the player and just drool over size, strength, athletic ability or other things instead of actually playing ability. A player that just needs one more year to get it but the next year they just need one more year to get it and will always be a tease but never be anything other than a player that flashes enough to keep people interested in what he could do with... Just one more year.

Some team will draft him before they should because the QB class is weak this year and because QBs are known to be drafted before they should be... Some team will reach and some team will regret it.

Jake Locker...is a good example of someone that they loved the size and physical abilities but ignored the tape and struggles he had and over drafted him.

Couldn't agree more. Some team may end up taking him in the late 1st early 2nd just because of the amount of qb needy teams.

Sounds like the Romo replacement is way off for this team. I heard the UCLA HC say that on NFL network tonight. That's very blatantly bad.

The Cowboys need a future QB, but this is a bad, bad QB class. Next years looks a lot better so they may wait to do so then.

He would have been better off if he CAN feel pressure and take off EARLY. He certainly has the ability to run. However, he wants to be a pocket passer. In that respect he hasn't don't well in terms of able to feel pressure, side step or step up away from pressure. That's why he is sacked so often which is extremely frustrating to watch.

Most good QBs have a feel of the pocket. Even the most immobile ones feels pressure and just make subtle adjustments to move away from pressure for that precious split second to get the pass off. Hundley doesn't have IT. He is the TEASER. Has the tools but NO FEEL.
