Keeping the trade back with the Jets scenario

Jets get 27

Dallas gets their #37, Swaps 3rd at #70 and their 4th #104

Using Drafttek for who is available in the rounds

2nd #37: Telvin Coleman RB Indiana- after his 40 on 4/15 he may not be available here, but for now, Dallas gets their N/S explosive runner. (Devin Smith is available here. Very tempting and badly needed deep speed threat especially if Dez is not possible to sign long-term or the cowboys know he has a year suspension coming.)

2nd #60: Darmarious Randall S Arizona - with this type of FS. Match up and disguise are more possible.

3rd #70: Ronald Darby CB Florida State - ideal tampa 2 corner. Speed match up with OBJ and works with Scandrick

4th #104: Laurence Gibson OT - can compete at OG and be the swing OT. There is no depth and Free is no guarantee to get through the season. Great OL prospect

4th#127: Frank Clark DE - obvious that background dropped him here. Dallas checked him out. I'm guessing he is ok. Plenty of upside to be a playmaker.

5th#163: David Irving DT- displayed some awesome talent at the 1 and 3. Right round to take a chance/

7th#236: Justin Coleman CB- Tennessee - nice tampa 2 corner prospect. There is not much depth on the roster.

7th#243: Mark Glowinski OG- played OT and OG.

Looks like reaches on Gibson, Clark, and Irving to me....Rounds 2 and 3 look good enough but way too much risk in your rounds 4 and 5 picks for my liking.

Word is Clark's stock has been rebounding and he is being touted as a guy who may crack the top 100 picks

Great...hopefully someone does actually take him and it pushes a better player down to us in the 4th. Not like we are talking about a guy who was a 1st round pick prior to everything. I'll pass

He was considered a 2nd round talent before his issues

Debatable...I've seen more along the lines of 3rd/4th. To say that a guy that didn't play his senior year is a 2nd round prospect has to mean that he received a 2nd round grade and elected to go back to school. Im going to go out on a limb and say that didn't happen.

What's it going to be then, eh?

He was an okay prospect, like a 4th rounder or something for me.

The last few weeks he is skyrocketing, even to the point some are mocking him into the late first.

I do not get it either.

Reminds me of Honey Badger, small but relentess with good coverage and ball skills. Also a good blitzer. He isn't the best tackler but other then that he looks great too me, would love too have him. I don't think he lasts till our 2nd rounder.

He is a CB/FS type which is valuable. It allows him to stay out there and line up with WR and not to mention that he has 4.4 speed and had over a 100 tackles. The video of him out there doesn't really do him justice.

sorry but a safety who is bad at tackling is a deal breaker for me.

I wondered the same thing but I forgot to ask.

The reported video about 2 months ago with Dez hitting some female. Apparently it was offered for sale and his old buddies are waiting for him to sign before releasing it. This was a factor in negotiations according to reports. They may franchise him rather than take the risk of a big contract. Devin Smith would be in play then.

His video isn't very good really don't see why people like him so much. Derron Smith has pretty good video.

I'd put more stock in Blockbuster than those allegations.

I think he is a good prospect. That said, there was one game where he took completely the wrong angle and the rb went for a long td. I have him as a 3/4 rounder

I like the 2nd-4th and both 7th rounders. I'm really, really, really not sold on Coleman as the bruiser the team evidently wants.
