The wife and I were HS sweethearts and this is our 15th Valentines together. I wouldn't trade her for anything!
I was going to surprise my wife with roses, which would set her up to give me an offhanded jab about how next year she would prefer tulips, then surprise her by taking her to a "tulip-centric" art/flower show at a botanical reserve later this afternoon. Followed by a Surf n' Turf dinner at home while the Aunt kept the kids overnight. Thanks to the snow, the flower delivery is up in the air and the tulip/art show will certainly not happen. I have a four wheel drive though, so those kids are getting dumped regardless!
Single and loving it! First one I've been single for in a couple years and man is it nice. I won't have to spend any money or do any work. Just hit up the bar around midnight tonight, be like fish in a barrel.
Chauvinist! Takes all the guesswork out of why you're single!
I broke up with my ex, thank you very much.

Got up first and got her candy and card out that she thought I had forgotten to buy.
Fixed breakfast for us,Boy, was she surprised.
At about one o'clock I asked if she wanted to go get a burger instead of cooking?
Instead of a burger we went to one of her favorite places to eat, The Cracker Barrel.
So I managed to get in several Happy Valentine's Day surprises.
Just glad it is over for another year!
Hey Chip, Chip Gilkey.......Is that you?
