We have Colombo, Kosier, and Bryant coming back from injury on the offense, and we have Sensabaugh and Spears coming back from injury on the defense.

This should hopefully make a world of difference.

This whole preseason has reminded me of that game against Washington, when we completely gave up running the ball. I honestly think that running the football will be a more focal point once the season ends.

I think we've played very careful, careless, and carefree this preseason because we're thinking of the super bowl, and we're thinking of the regular season. True we have to get there first, but we're not putting our aces on the table.

How many teams take out their 3rd running back in the first half of the first couple preseason games? Our depth of important players run fairly deep.

I also think the offense is struggling because its shifted to a mentality that we have Dez Bryant in the offense. So rather than it being the same offense from last year, we're coming up short.

Romo has actually looked fairly sharp when the offensive line has allowed him to, and I think game planning can allow us to do more in both the passing game and the running game. More play action we didn't use all that much of it this preseason for instance.

We've looked bad but we've kept our aces and our jokers for when it counts.

I think bringing Dez back into the fold simply gives our offense a different dimension.

As much as Im pulling for Roy williams. Dez is the key more than he is. If Roy can bring his ~44% catch rate up to the high 50s low 60s.. and no on regresses on the offense, Dez will be able to shine brightly.

We're dead last in the nfl in yds/g, if anyone thinks that we aren't holding back, they've got to be kidding themselves.

Sure we're not executing, but we're still not playing our cards.

We're 29th in rushing attempts per game... I say again... 29th... thats attempts friends... attempts. We're trying to keep our running backs from getting hurt. Its as obvious as it can get.

I wouldn't start worrying about the offense too much. I would worry about our nonstop miscues. Thats the only thing I'm really upset about. And I blame the coaches more than the players. Even when the 2nd team went in there the miscues didn't stop... that's coaching...

The lack of physicality on defense... again I blame the coaching for that, but I honestly think when the games start to matter, the veterans will play like... veterans.

Stop posting optimism please, it's not welcome around here for 72hrs after a loss. Preseason or not.

Can't believe I forgot brook, probably because he isn't really injured and is just sitting and recovering, but yea thats another key part of our stopping the run.

The problem is, Columbo and Kosier were playing poorly before they got hurt, Columbo in particular

Not too worried about the defense

I don't think they're AS bad as what we saw the last couple games, that said, everyone knows that I'm all for bringing in Logan Mankins.

I think the only thing they'll be focusing on once the season ends is where they're going for vacation. :p: (Yeah, I know what you meant)
