Valid points, but here's the thing for me.......
I've never had the opportunity to see VH with DLR in the lineup. And I know the entire concert is going to be jammed with songs that I love.......the old stuff from the first 6 albums. And Eddie is clean and sober and playing incredibly well right now. I miss Michael Anthony as much as Hostile, but I'm telling you, Wolfgang is playing great right now too and his backing vocals sound good as well.
As for AC/DC, Bon Scott is my fav, but Brian Johnson is the best replacement singer ever, and they still belt out a full set of great rock. I realize it's not 1979 anymore, but I don't have a problem spending good money on iconic bands like AC/DC, Van Halen & Springsteen because I know the quality of the show will be top notch.
