We have a new #1. Kiwi has settled down on draft boards closer to where he belongs after horrendous Senior Bowl showing. No more Ed Too Tall 6-8 or 6-7 days. He's a North/South 6-5 Undersized DE that is a major boom/bust. His stock is dropping like Enron's did.

New #1 - Hog's QB - Jay Cutler!
Day one was an up and down practice for Cutler. On one hand he showed the incredible arm strength and size that scouts love. However, his decision making and footwork were suspect at times. This was the main knock against Cutler at Vanderbilt.

He has the arm - but whats connected to it is flawed. Some in fact have him a wide receiver prospect....Needs to refine passing motion and improve deep accuracy. Any talk of Cutler and Top 15 is ludicrous!

OVERRATED ROUNDOUTS!

Cutler
Kiwi
Hagan
Jon Scott
Wroten
Greenway
DQ Jackson
Pat Watkins

Anyone who's getting overrated solely based on the Senior Bowl practices is vastly overrated.

Let's not forget that Bill Swancutt was unstoppable in the Senior Bowl last year. And Shante Carver worked his way into the 1st round because he dominated the Senior Bowl practices.

What's really important is how these players did throughout their football careers. If not for an injury from a cheap shot, Kiwi would have had 3 consecutive years of double digit sacks playing in a major football conference. He would have been a Top 10 pick if he declared last year. He's getting punished because people are suffering from paralysis by analysis.

I don't think it's paralysis by analysis.

He's getting punished cuz South Florida, UCONN, Rutgers, et al., didn't have the likes of DBrick and Colledge playing LT.

Kiwi played in the ACC against pretty tall competiton, including D'Brick.

Kiwi's most dominating performances this year was against NC State, paired against Derek Morris a good part of the game. He had 12 tackles, 2 full sacks, 3 half sacks and 5.5 TFL's. I watched the game, and the stat line doesn't even describe how dominating he was. There isn't a large gap between the draft stock of Morris and Colledge.

There isnt? Colledge is like a 1st-2nd rd pick, Morris is probably going in the 5-7th rd.

Kiwi didn't declare last year because he wasn't physically strong enough to. Beware this on Kiwi - He was shut out in sacks last year EIGHT times. He got his sacks in 3 1/2 games......:

Watson was benched this year and has been constantly criticised for lack of want to-
OVER RATED.

The thing with these Senior Bowl reports are that they are almost all second hand information.

From many accounts, Greenway has actually played well. Others have him struggling.

That's the great thing about ESPN and the NFL Network showing practices. We can see for ourselves and judge the opinions accordingly.

As an example, one cite mentioned how "fluid" Will Blackmun looked and how impressed they were the first day's practice. I watched that practice on NFLN and he look so bad it wasn't even funny. He couldn't cover a penny with a laundry basket if his life depended on it.

The gurus used to be able to talk up the stock of this guy or that but now we know.
