They don't even have a functional coach. Their owner is several orders of magnitude below that. Actually, it's not a given that he's still living. Throw in a QB who is essentially a rookie.

I think you're probably right, but if they can get through the first few games (which include all 3 road games against the NFC East opponents) without being blown out of the water, and if they can stay reasonably healthy, I wouldn't be surprised to find them playing pretty fair football by season's end... the schedule makers did not give the Skins, with a new head coach implementing a new offensive system, any favors this year...

It's just a gut feeling, one countered by my wondering if Jim Zorn is in over his head...

I could see them having a decent year, even making the playoffs, or I could see them losing 10 or more games... if they do get off to a rocky start, and suffer some injuries along the way, the last half of the season could get brutal on 'em...
