CN: I think in Cowboys land there's a short list for a lot of people. I think it's four guys, two 3-techniques, Floyd and Richardson, the safety Kenny Vaccaro and Chance Warmack. There's a pretty good chance all four of those guys are gone. If Dallas comes on the clock and they're out, where or to whom do you turn next? Where does Jonathan Cooper sit these days?

TD: He ran a very good 40 time, must over 5.0 seconds. He's a safe play, there's no doubt about that. And he's something else with Cooper. Several teams I've talked to feel that his best position may end up being center. His most natural position may be center as opposed to guard. He's being viewed as a guy who can play multiple positions. I think that adds value.

You know he can play with good pad level and can get under you and can move. He's not simply a straight-line player. Add that he could also play center and I think he will be in that 20 to 40 range. Pick 18 might be a bit high, but if you can get a future All Pro center who really cares where he was taken?

Man, to have multiple first round picks this year would be a dream. I don't think we're going to see many trades into the top ten, but I think we're going to have some wheeling and dealing once the teens warm up.

Though I like Vacarro, the value will be in the trenches. With the safeties being so strong this year, you can probably wait until the second round to draft one and potentially the third round.

I'll sig bet anyone that no RB or QB go in the first round this year. Any takers?

I like you so I wont bet anything other than to say Geno Smith and Matt Barkley definitely go round one IMO, and I dont particularly like Barkley. Now a days it doesnt cost teams much to be wrong on 1st round QBs so they wont hesitate to draft potential. Also there are about 10 QBs in the league that shouldnt be starters.

I would love to have an extra 2nd or even 3rd/4th this year.

if i were a betting man i'd take you up on that, think some team always always gets impatient wanting a QB and takes them too high. Heck Tebow was a first rounder.

In truth, it's more likely that a bottom-feeder moves up into the late first to take Barkley or Smith. The latter would probably be my choice since his inaccuracy is really his biggest concern while Barkley has to shake off the Mark Sanchez comparisons.
