and interesting guy

Bryant, from Temple University, stands an intimidating 6-foot-3 and checks in at 200 pounds. He went undrafted in the the 2019 NFL draft. The former Owls wide receiver amassed 173 receptions, 2,444 receiving yards, and 10 touchdowns.

Special Teams guy at best on this team that's loaded at WR. Think he did catch 1 TD pass from Dak last season.

Also made headlines for a DUI arrest in March.

Some of the beat writers have said he and Cedrick Wilson have looked the best of the non-top 3 WR's. If that's the case, he would seem likely to make the team given his huge special teams value. Wonder where this leaves Jon'Vea, Noah Brown and Devin Smith.

Read that Devin Smith picked right up where he left off last year, looking good in TC.
Johnson to me is still a PS guy. TC highlights, but was not game ready. This is not the year not to take a chance just because he has speed.
We do not need a speedy guy. We have those that also have game experience.

Gallup, Cooper, Lamb all have speed. So does Wilson and Smith for as much as is needed. Does Bryant stick, as he is more of a ST's guy. Maybe if they keep 6.
Brown is more of a possession type, great blocker, but can he stay healthy, Wilson the same, both seem injury prone the last 2 years.
Hopefully both stay healthy now.

I hope they keep 6 WR's, too much depth to only keep 5.

I like Ventell Bryant and feel he can be a good career backup and contributor on a spread offense. He's also a very good special teams player who is one of our headhunters. Excellent height, very good hands, decent speed. He's a keeper.

With his size and he is faster than Brown I think. His ST's play as well. If he can catch as well as Brown, he can replace him. As much as I like Brown to make the team. But got to go with who helps more overall over any pets cats.

It would seem, lagging behind, at this juncture.

After, Wilson, Ventell Bryant looks to be next in line, thus far.

Of course, it doesn't mean that can't change, though. It's still very early, yet.
