Would be worth trading up for with Buffalo at this spot. I do not think anyone has discussed this possibility. Can you imagine TO, Glenn,Whitten and this freak of nature going down the field?.....I know it will not probably happen but wow.....he would fill a need as an wr and te and infuse us with youth

Nah, Nolan wants to win and knows that the best way to get competitive fast is to build the defense. That is his forte. I think Hawk is the likely pick for them at 6 unless something stupid happens and Ferguson falls to them.

Hawk will be gone by the 6th pick. He needs weapons for Alex Smith.

I would bet heavily that they go with Vernon Davis at 6. If they go defense, with Hawk and Mario Williams off the board, Huff would be the Defensive pick.

I suspect they either take Vernon Davis or trade down to the 10 range.

OK, if Hawk is gone by the 6th pick, that means that two of the QBs have fallen. While I think that possible, I view it as unlikely. I have a hard time thinking that the Jets aren't going to take a QB in this draft. I don't believe they will go into the season with nothing more than roadkill Pennington and Ramsey when they can get a first round QB. They have to hope to not have the opportunity to pick this high again for a long time.
