No injuries... and in particular, the left side of the line didn't get anyone hurt. Romo shows no rust. Defense plays well for the most part, especially as strapped as we were and holding out Lee. Gregory gets his first sack and made some other plays.

Great game would have been if we'd won, or even if Sanchez had just showed something beyond that "no no no no, yes yes yes yes" pass he dropped in on 3rd and 2 to Beasley.

Attention turns to WAS, DET and GB.

I agree, I expected a loss. We appear to have not occurred anymore injuries. That is literally the only thing that matters.

Would like to see Byron Jones tighten his game up though. Too much obvious stuff going to Ertz today.

agreed but my attention will not turn to other games because I don't care. I don't even care who Dallas 1st playoff opponent is because only team that can beat Cowboys is Cowboys.

I too was watching for him to jump one of those at some point--really thought, late, there'd be a Wentz interception that would give us a real shot at winning, even. But I'm inclined to think he was coached to just play contain... obviously, that's just conjecture on my part. tho.

Overall, we looked like crap, but we had no injuries to speak of and that's what matters.
Glad we had no injuries, but I disagree on looking like crap.

We looked fine for the first 28 minutes when the game actually mattered to us. Think back. We were up 10-3 with the ball close to midfield at the 2 minute warning. Do you have any doubt if Dak or Tony were playing, not to mention Zeke, Tyron, Leary, and Dez, we'd have scored and been up 17-3?

Yes, Sanchez and Free looked like crap. Otherwise, meh.

Romo proving he can still play could be a boon for his trade compensation. It's a SSS, but teams have at least seen he can play still.

Yeah, Broaddus' comments about Cleary and Looney had me cringing all day, waiting for the worst to happen... but it turns out, my anxiety for the most part proved unnecessary. Yeah, Cleary wasn't perfect by any means, but I expect Broaddus to give those guys some props tomorrow.

IMO he's not the answer at FS. He's OK but not the ballhawk nor the great TE cover guy that we need. Could be exploited in the playoffs.

Yup. The outcome was perfect. On to this Super Bowl run.
