Some may feel that the NYG are a cakewalk and powder puff of an opponent but I disagree. Any division opponent is a dangerous animal. Especially one with nothing to lose.

But that's not the real important part of this, the need to establish a new habit is, road winning.

The Cowboys won their last road game, have this one and close out against the Eagles. Winning on the road is as much mental as physical.

The odds are that if they win the opening weekend, they will have to go on the road for the division and conference championship games, most likely to GB or TB.

I know there is a lot of apprehension here about GB in GB and I said earlier in the year I wanted GB and that hasn't changed and I don't care where we play them, I want the Cowboys to be the team that knocks them and that arrogant weasel out of the playoffs and I'd like that to be his last game as a Packer. And I don't mind if he finishes that game on the sideline with his usual sour look because some bad ole DL tackled him too hard.

I do think the next two games help get the Cowboys road ready.

I agree, at this stage of the season I think all games are important as you would like to see this team hitting it's stride as they move into post season.

Totally get your point that it's a divisional game and anything is possible but...... We will destroy the Giants. I don't think we are overlooking anyone at this point and we have much better players. 28-10 Cowboys. :oldcouple:

That specific outcome would be better than the best intimacy of my life, but the more likely scenario is a 27-6 Dallas loss in a frozen cold situation

I don't care how good this defense is, they will wear out at some point because arrogant weasel will eventually figure it out with the defense having to play 47 minutes on the field because the offense could never move the ball because our mediocre warm weather quarterback's sowwy wittle arm froze to death.

after all the doubt and talk about the offense i think the cowboys will really be ready to play this game i dont think they will over look the giants been a lot of things been said about dak and the offense this week i think they will be very ready to face the giants

...I know many dread possible GB situation. In weird way, it might be what the Dr ordered. Exorcise the demons Rodgers has on Dallas and MM from GB.

Yes, a definite road win Vs NYG, would do wonders for the mental plasticity of Dallas. Our defense has spoken and looking formidable at right time.

If they lose this game they don't deserve to win the division or make the playoffs, but I do believe the Giants will be fired up to prevent Dallas from clinching the division in their stadium. I also think they will play hard to save their head coaches job. The Giants are going to try to run the football right at Dallas hoping to get Barkley to the second level where he can use his speed to make big plays. I do not think they want to let their backup QB sit in the pocket where Gregory, Lawrence and Parsons can can blow him up.

If the Cowboys do not come out fired up and physical, it will be a long embarrassing day for all of us.

And Win

If Dallas wants to show their dominance in the NFCE, and to the rest of the NFC as well, as the NFL. They must go out and get this win. And with a solid game on both sides of the ball.

By that, it does not need to be a blowout win, or a perfect game, but consistent to where they where in the beginning of the season on offense, and continued solid play with the defense.
No matter who the opponent is. Get a solid win.

Every game is important for seeding purposes, so with that in mind, the advantage of winning is essential to pursue.

Hopefully Dallas wins and GB & Tampa somehow lose.

Any news on if Lamar will play. That is a key factor there. I think Baltimore can beat them if he plays.

TB has NO at home, probably a win there for TB. But you never know, NO fighting for a playoff spot. Their defense may keep the in the game. And a division rival game.

Last I checked he hadn’t practiced all week.

Agree on important game. Not degrading giants but they’re a good team to start sharpening your skillz on after being in a slump....
It’s kinda like hunting big game and you start missing your shots and opportunities so you go back to the range, set up some targets and get your “shooting eye” back again by tweaking a few things.....the Giants are the range and target this week
