I am probably one of the few fans in here that pays close attention to Cal. They hired Tosh Lupoi as their new HC and should be very interesting this year. I am sure the scouts are there to watch QB Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele who I will refer to as JKS after. He is not draft eligible till the 2028 draft. He had a very nice 2025 freshman year. My initial impression of JKS was he has pro ability. 1) Decisive on where to go with ball and gets it out quick. Had to be as his line wasnt great last year. 2) Accurate thrower puts it where it needs to be. Can throw downfield. 18th in passing yards as freshman with pedestrian talent around him. 3) Mobile and runs as needed. 4) great teammate and humble kid. Have heard talking heads talking up his 2028 draft stock already. A name to watch for sure.

Yea JKS is pretty much a no brainer early pick when he comes out. Every team will scout him for the next two years

JKS prime candidate to transfer to Indiana next year.

Drake Lindsey up in Minn Gophers another Sophomore to watch
Good stats as RSFreshman 2025
6'5", 230

If they were smart they would get down to starkville mississippi and check out kamario tayor.

On the subject of Cal, I bet they are taking a long hard look at Kingston Lopa.

He's sort of a hybrid LB/S (which I guess Parker likes?) but is 6-5 and has 5 INTs this year.

Daniel Harris is probably a prospect too, but I don't have any sense of where he's draftable.

Not sure how they got him out of Oregon other than Tosh Lupoi was his DC there last year. Anyway yes he has shown to be a playmaker in the back 7 and if he tests well athletically I could see him landing as a top 60 pick. On passing downs I could see him playing any safety of LB position, maybe against certain opponents even once in a while a slot corner. Definitely has a nose for the football.
