Amazing how much confidence impacts a player. He looks like a different player.

His on-fiels demeanor is completely different than last year.
Most WRs have too much confidence and ego. Don't know when they don't know.

Tolbert seemed to know that he had a lot to learn, and it left him a little tentative. But knowing he had a lot to learn, he seemed to have learned a lot of it and now has confidence based in reality. I like the self-critical guys. They're the ones that improve year after year. I expect Tolbert's trajectory will be up through his rookie contract.

The OP literally said he's "getting it done at WR".

That's simply not true as his paltry stats clearly show.

Maybe focus on your own reading comprehension before the "you people" foolishness.

Stating fact isn't crying. Your nonsense response is though.
He is getting it done as a #4 WR lol

What is your definition of getting it done?

The WR room is in good shape. Tolbert looks like a different player this year. Glad being a Pro clicked with him. THE ST HIT he made last Sunday was awesome.
BINGO.
After his rookie struggles, Tolbert was humbled; then accepted the tutelage of longtime league veteran Cooks and put in work.
WR4 for the 2023 season - but no diva attitude - gunner on the punt team.

Tolbert reminds me of a slightly faster, pre-injury Michael Gallup.

Cowboys have another weapon.

I think the negative reviews he got impacted more than anything. He was hearing the “B” word. The fan base and even some who cover the team were down on him. It caused him to buckle down and commit himself to improving.

He has 9 targets so far and caught 7. That is pretty good.

He can only catch the passes thrown his way.

Plus his special teams play has been good.
Low bar at WR because he sucked last year. Nice he's doing well on ST that's about it. YMMV

It's awesome to see him turn it on this year.

Usually when young players hit that deer-in-headlights point, they check out mentally and it's just a lost cause. We saw that with Mo and with Taco... they had flashes of talent, but once they start throwing helmets and going on Twitter rampages, they were done.

Tolbert hit that point get healthy-scratched last year, but he's pulled out of the tailspin.

Was he called that by Diggs too? Dang. No mercy.

The Cowboys completely screwed up last year. Their coaching staff was the reason for his struggle. All this came out in the off season. Once they fixed the problem, Tolbert immediately started to improve.
