Being a homer doesnt make you loyal.

Predicting a win doesnt make you loyal or a true fan. Just makes you unrealistic part of the time. Nothing wrong with that I guess.
Actually, those are both hallmarks of do or die fans.

But, jaded and cynical fans are lots more fun to be around

mr CRoy--- now you got me all full of anxiety about our O-line....i just saw a broadcast where there are high expectations for first time we will have all five

if those 3 are out we will no doubt have to change our offensive scheme....i remember a game in 2013 against Chargers where they lost 3 top O lineman

and beat us straight up...yes our defense had many holes in 2013,...but i remember commentators continual surprise how the backups playing so well

and its time for 9ers to lay an egg...Purdy has played as good as he has because his receivers dont drop balls and have better catch radius...our defense

i believe can take up the slack and may have too....GO-COWBOYS BEATDOWN TIME vs 9ers
Good chance we may have all 5. That would be great. But we still have to worry about continuity. That could be an issue. Just sayin. Would like to have Dowdle for this one as well and looks like he will be out.

Problem with the Niners is they rarely lay eggs. Thats why they are soo good. Veteran team that understands how to win games. Well coached.

They are really looking like a team following in the footsteps of the "perfect storm" formula of Championship level team with good young QB playing beyond his years still on his rookie deal.

Im with you in that I think the Cowboys can win every week. Having a chance and actually doing it are two different things.

Predicting a win EVERY game is the hallmark of a true fan?

My wife could do that and she doesnt even watch the games.

A quality fan understands everything about their teams strengths and weaknesses and can discuss both openly and intelligently.

I find fair weather, cheerleader types come and go as the team wins and loses. Got the bumper sticker on the car when were winning and removes it when were losing.

Not that that is PLAT. He probably has 3 bumper stickers on the car at all times. :flagwave: Probably the kinda guy you want to tailgate with on Sundays.

i dont disagree with you...i admit i at times go over the top...i would love to have Dowdle ( loved him in college and so happy we picked him )...but unless

Cowboys playing games they have yet to rule him out...cant he just get some kind of shot of Novacain and prednisone?....i am sure health staff on top of it

in last 2 games against 9ers playoffs 22,23..longest run in both games was 17 yards and that was by Dak ...so i believe putting Leupke and Pollard is a good

combo this game...plus mix in long passes at times and defense continue to play out of their minds but we know this kind of play over long 17 game stretch there

will be injuries....i had this thought...if i was an OC i would tell my lineman to try and step on Parsons feet....i just wonder cause he has been stepped on a lot lately

but they have him rushing the middle i believe too much....and he goes like a wildman...i would rest him more...or maybe they do have not checked snap count

we just got to beat 9ers Sunday night that is all i know?

That’s all you know? What if the Cowboys lose this Sunday evening? Then you’ll just think the Cowboys will finish the season 15-2 and openly predict as much. I’d be more than satisfied with 15-2. Obviously you’d be disappointed. That is all I know.

A good OC saves things for the big games. If all 5 lineman go I bet we see more of the deep stuff in this game. Havent seen it at all this year.

As far as Dowdle it was the same hip he has had problems with last season. They have pretty much been playing the long game this year, which I agree with. What matters is being healthy for the playoffs. If he isnt ready to go, hold him out. Use the guys we do have.

Its a big game, but not that big.

Ill take a win, but would the boys be back on that high horse again? Peaking too early?

I actually think we may win because of the rubber band effect….niners have won four games in a row pretty easily and will be at home relaxed. Meanwhile, we got our rude wake call at Arizona and have something to prove. The entire league generally reverts to the mean.
Tactically, I think DQ spies CM and we have people who can cover Debo.

Its supposed to be a feeling you get. A bold call!

This would actually be the week to bust it out if you really got the feeling we would win. I would also wait until we actually know who is playing and who isnt. Although if Martin, Tyron and Biadasz were all out I have a feeling it would change much for you.
Let em have some fun you ole dog bisquit.

Here is a good article discussing exactly what I was talking about with the deep passing game being unleashed if we have all 5 lineman.

this is first year since i have been on the zone that i have put up a PLAT every game so far.....i think usually like 8-10 out of 17?....but we are legitimately doing

BEATDOWNS because of Dan Quinn's defense....which they play out of their minds and its hard not to see injuries in our future playing so passionately

so i am doing my part and being a passionate fan....i dont bet....i am disappointed for about a day...Go-Cowboys
