Veteran WR's

If we encounter any injury problems along the way this season with Glenn, Owens or Crayton (or any combination of the 3). How important is getting in a Veteran WR to our season?

If we had to start Hurd or Rector (Or both) for a few games, is it going to be a big problem? I know the lack of NFL game experience isn't ideal but they both look like they can play to me, and everyone has to get their first games some time right? If we had just Glenn, Hurd and Rector healthy on opening day, we'd still have Whitten to pass too, are we really in that much trouble?

Plenty of veteran, Pro Bowl WR's out there for the picking ... esp with two weeks left until Opening Day.

Sorry, I just don't get the "sky is falling" mentality some have regarding Dallas' WR corps.

The current group has looked better and deeper than any I have ever seen.

The team is worried about finding enough roster space for the players they have now, much less creating room for another.

The only thing I have seen from Rector, Hurd, and Copper is the ability to make plays. Heck, Miles Austin has made plays in the few chances he's had!

Glenn is healthy and playing as well as anyone in the league and Crayton has returned to practice. Owens will soon follow by week's end and be on the field for Week 1 - take that to the bank.

I see no reason whatsoever for the Cowboys to be worried about the wide receiver position.

for what it's worth i'm pretty comfy with rector and hurd if t.o. goes down. now if t.o. and glenn went down thats a different story
