My uncle Timothy Collier gave his life for our country in Vietnam. My father and two of my brothers served in the U.S. Armed forces as did my father-in-law.

*** bless them all, and all others who have served our country well.

I want to thank my Dad and Grandpa. Dad 2 years in Vietnam, Sgt. in the Marines. Grampa a tailgunner on a B-17 in the Army Aircorps, 25 missions over Germany in WWII. Both men served and made it through their life paths so I could be here.

On Veterans day, I had the day off from work.

I slept in a bit, spent time with my new puppy, took a good ride on my motorcycle, baby-sat my new grandson, watched a football game.

All of these things were made possible by the men and women that have served to keep us free.
