Vic Carucci's latest mock

revis at CB and move Henry to FS I could be pretty happy with that.

I won't complain

I don't know why people are so fixated on Blalock, he's not the only OG out there

I don't know how we pass up on Bowe, Rice, Ross or Blalock at this pick. Well, maybe Blalock, but certainly not the others. I don't know a lot about Revis, but I have seen what the others can do.

PFW has Aaron Sears #1, Ben Grubbs #2 and Justin Blalock #3 on their Offensive Guard list. WR Jason Hill ran very well at the Combine and was projected to the 3rd, but maybe he'll go higher now. Ginn is supposely slipping, only because guys like Bowe, Meachem and Buster Davis are moving up. The other guy the Cowboys were looking at C/G Samson Satele is projected late 2 to Early 3rd.

If that's how the draft pans out I'd go Ginn in a heartbeat. Return punts for us and has time to develop into our #1 once TG/Owens are done.

Meachem or Ginn if they're available at 22 otherwise go best CB available is what I'd prefer myself.

I agree. It's time to address the WR position. We can draft CB in the second round and develop a guy behind Henry and Newman. But we need to think beyond TO and TG, and it seems the draft will fall right for us this year.

Draft Ginn who can double as a kick returner/punt returner while he learns the position behind two of the best.

Mike Mayock has Grubbs, Sears and Blalock as his top 3 OGs

If Ginn is there when we pick and Jerry passes on him someone should knock the snot out of him.

And then knock the snot out of his dad for having such a stupid son.

:laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:

If we don't re-sign Colombo then it'll be an OL. I say it Blalock cuz he's versatile & athletic enough to play RT, RG, or LG. We MUST protect Romo and we'll do it w/ a high draft choice...imo:)

Hard to see Jarrett dropping out of the first round, and would much rather see us pick a WR here instead of a rookie CB who would need tons of safety help just to survive right away. Not sure how that frees up Roy Williams to play near the line.

My thoughts exactly!

If we don't resign Columbo then Blalock or another OL becomes a must.

If we take Ginn at 22, I'll puke. He's a smurf who will only be a return specialist.

Blalock just does not look to me as a guy that can really play well at tackle in the NFL. And that is what we need in the draft.

Then Blalock at RG & Davis at RT. It's all good in the neighborhood!:D

I'd take Ginn in a heartbeat.

Name the top WR in the NFL. On my list, there's a guy with similar size who also returned kicks at the top: Steve Smith. I'm not saying Ginn is the next Smith, but the similarities are there, other than Glinn being a better citizen.

Ginn is a dangerous pick at #22. He is definately a boom or bust guy. You have to hope he is more than a one trick pony at the WR position. Now as a returner, he is a threat to take it every time he touches the ball. But in the first round you are betting on is upside of continuing to develop his skills as a WR. Honestly, I'm torn on Ginn at 22 if he were there. And that is even with my Buckeye homer glasses obscuring my vision.

2. Detroit: Joe Thomas, OT, Wisconsin

Such a shame. Detriot has become a blackhole for destorying very talented players... I don't care what anyone says, I think this guy is the prize of the draft. (Yes, even over Calvin Johnson)

Ohio guy myself. How 'bout Wright State? Saw that in person. Great game.
