Philly is starting off 0-2 guys..

AT Carolina..
Home with New Orleans

I could EASILY see them starting off 0-2 which is equivalent to 0-6 Philly standards

Ever?

You telling me your fanbase wouldn't turn on him if you had a really bad year?

Every fanbase has it's idiots. We have had "a bad year" under Reid but he's the most winningest coach the franchise has had. I, for one, don't look forward to the day he leaves but I sure hope he can finally bring us the trophy!!

I don't think it would be any different.

True, but the eagles seem to have more of them. I remember the game when your fans were throwing water bottles as the eagles were entering the tunnel at half time. That was just for one half of bad play. What's gonna happen if this season is less than stellar? I could, definitely, envision a scenario where McNadd and Reid are sacrificed to please the rabid fans. Okay, maybe that was just a dream I had but crazy things happen all the time in the NFL and Next season there will be a couple of coaches available who have rings on their fingers. That has to be tempting.

With McNabb, well, who knows? But Reid isn't going anywhere.

you lose Donovan McNabb, and you're no better than the Commanders every year.

The sooner the better. I know Philly fans will turn on McNabb and he is by far the better QB. Philly fans will derail that ship and sink that train.

I think you are right. McNabb's first "bad game" will unleash (no pun intended) the call for Vick. McNabb has lost a step, or the desire to run, and Vick will give the fans that option.

McNabb is the better QB. Vick is more exciting although McNabb has more than his share of moments. I think McNabb may be slowing some but I wouldn't bet any money on it. He's dangerous. Unless some have forgotten his play making and running ability.

I will be very glad to see him retire and for Reid to go coach elsewhere. Best idea I've heard in awhile.

Plus they have Kolb who may or may not develop into something.

As much as I would love to see them go 0-2, they will win one of those first two games. If they lose to Carolina no way are they coming home and losing to the Saints

Soft? 2 years in prison is soft? I think it's **** that he can't play in week 1. He served his 2 years let him be. Besides, if being able to play by week 3 is soft, do you really consider making him wait 3 more weeks is "hard" ?

Lets see.. Make dogs fight.. 2 years in prison + 2 week suspension.

Shoot yourself in the Leg.. 2 years in prison.

Get drunk and run over a man, killing him? 24 days in prison and a WHOLE YEAR suspension! Wowee that's hardcore punishment. Gotta love our legal system.

Let Vick play and be his ****ty QB self. He never was a good QB, and never will be. A fast mobile QB with a cannon arm who sucks in the pocket and has poor accuracy, will never be a contender or take his team to the superbowl.

Replace Mcnabb? Do people seriously believe that? Vick isn't half the QB Mcnabb is, and never will be. However, Vick WILL start for the Eagles this year, but it WON'T be because Mcnabb is benched. It's because Mcnabb will be injured by week 8, just like every year. And when it happens, Eagles are out of the picture.
