Alright, how in the **** was Brett Favre addicted to this stuff and able to function???

I got some today after getting a molar cut out. Take the pill, and out for 3 hours. Loopy as a frog on spin cycle, can't think at all other than I want to be the QB for the Vikings.

Because Brett is football player and you are a wimp. :D

Well to be candid, I'm not taking it with a Jack Daniels chaser so I might be missing something.

I guess it affects people differently.

I've taken Vicodin before and felt virtually no affect.

Now, Percocet . . . ;)

That puts me in a good mood more than anything.

:laugh2: You mean that isn't written in the Prescription instructions? You probably should have gone to Brett's pharmacist instead.

It's like anything else. You have to develop a tolerance for it. Just like there are functioning alcoholics, and then there are those who throw up with one sip of vodka.

Same here. I've taken it on 3 different occasions and had no affect - except New Years 1997 - Senior in HS, wisdom teeth taken out, went to party at rival school with the intentions of not drinking or causing problems..... self control failed me again. :(

This is exactly correct. I can take Percocet and it won't bother me at all.

Vicodin? Diff story... :D

Sounds good. Can you mail me the ones you're not going to use?

I only take it before posting anything on this message board. Doesn't seem to cause me any problems.

I took it about 17 years ago when I was like 21 or some where around that age after ankle surgery by day two or 3 I could not stand the constant stoned out of my mind feeling I had so I quit taking it and dealt with the pain. I do not see how anyone takes it all the time and functions.

Vicodin is weak sauce.

When I got jacked up in the military I was popping Percocet like it was going out of style. I remember taking up to 10 ~ 15 a day.

I got addicted, but ended up quitting cold turkey. I was taking them for almost 2 years.

Those were good times.

Vicodin barely phases me, people's biology is different I guess. I have to take 20mg to get any kind of effect from it.

Although, I don't think i've ever been so happy at work after wisdom tooth surgery.

Me too. When I tore my knee up I wanted that pill so bad. I went to the team Doctor and gave them back to him. It literally scared me how much I liked that. To this day, never taken another one for pain.

Vicodin makes me feel really really good. I've only had to take it on a couple of different occasions, but each time, I felt like I was wrapped in a nice warm blanket where I could fall asleep or stay up and feel good. Nothing could mess up my mood.

I could very easily see getting stuck on that stuff if you had to take it for any extended period of time.
