victor butler

Good to see him out there. Id still like to see Spencer, Ware and Butler on the field at the same time. Slide Spencer to ILB and let him rush for Brooking.

That's not fair. Ware gets chipped alot. They don't game plan for Butler.

i love ware....absolutely love him..

he made maybe 2 good plays tonight.

just saying.

I noticed he was playing a lot today. I couldn't really notice if he was doing ok.

He did make the play on Eli that caused the fumble. Other than that I couldn't tell if he was creating pressure.

I really like Butler. I think he is a natural pass rusher.

He was creating plenty of pressure, more than Spencer did today. He was noticable each time he played. He also made a great play on a screen paly I believe too, other than that fumble thing with Manning.

yeah he def read that screen play perfectly, saw eli backpedaling and turned right around and went after the runningback

Victor Butler made a terrific play that a lot of people may have missed.

On one play, the Cowboys OLBs as usual ran straight up the outside edge, the Giants played it perfectly by running screen to Bradshaw (may have been Jacobs?). However, on the play, Butler had the presence of mind to recognize what was unfolding and he stopped in his tracks, cut back towards the LOS and made the tackle just as soon as the RB caught the ball.

Great play by Butler.

Does Brandon Williams even get to wear a uniform anymore?

I believe Brandon Williams was inactive today. Is he the next member of the 2009 draft class to get cut?

Could be, he was one of Wade's well known pet-players.

I'm not rooting against him, but rather simply waiting for him to do something, anything.

Butler is a playmaker, needs to see the field more.

Yes. And on the Eli fumble he was smart enough to tackle Eli instead of going after the ball and that allowed Spencer to make the fumble recovery. Very smart play.

I remember that play. I didn't know it was Butler at first, and I thought it was a really smart play. Then I saw it was #57.
