I have never felt this bad after a win! By all rights the Cowboys should have loss that game. It took a miss helmet hit by the refs to give the Cowboys a win. You might call this fate, karma, Mo Jo or what ever, but if this is what we will be seeing against the Giants, Eagles, or Lions we are in deep do-do!!Another week another test another WIN! 39 years and I have never felt bad after a win....they still would have had to convert the two pointer if the penalty was called...no W was given. Enjoy it!I have never felt this bad after a win! 11 and freaking 1!!When everyone was moaning and complaining in the game thread, I said, "We're going to win."
We basically were sleep-walking through the entire game and still had the lead at half-time. Basically, the Vikings did all they could and only scored 3 points.
That told me right there that this is a good team. We just needed one opportunity down the stretch, and we got it via a Vikings special team fumble.
Game, set, match! 11-1.
That is why I am worried. I am starting to feel like, the team has hit their ceiling and won't have anything left for the playoffs. They are doing well, do not get me wrong. My issue is, how long can this go on for? We're in the middle of a historical run.
But won't be worth squat unless we hoist the Lombardi.
With yesterday's performance, I question our ability to do so ...
Yea, but to be out played like that against a very bad offense should send chill bumps down your back. I predicted that we would lose two of the three but now I would not be surprised if we loss all three!! We definitely need for the Steelers to win this week so that we will not have to win against the Giants.39 years and I have never felt bad after a win....they still would have had to convert the two pointer if the penalty was called...no W was given. On the road in hostile environment, 3rd game in 12 days, playing an elite defense..........outplayed?, yeah maybe, outscored?, NOPE.Yea, but to be out played like that against a very bad offense should send chill bumps down your back. This is as close to a Cowboys fancard revocation as you can get without actually losing it.Yea, but to be out played like that against a very bad offense should send chill bumps down your back. Ten days off they will be ready. First "revenge" game for Dak &Zeke...I can't wait for the game!I was right there with you, Tyke never give up on this squad, guys. My fingers were bleeding and I was rooting hard, bro.
That was a playoff atmosphere game of the highest order. Championship clubs will win a couple like that along their run, through the course of their season. It builds character and adds resolve. The coaches get great film and the players get more reassurance they can do it with their backs against the wall.
My man @haleyrules brings up a great point, many of our penalties can be chocked up to our players being tired. Garrett teams, lately, don't get penalized too often. This was out of character, and killed some awesome plays. We played a bit sloppy at times, but gritty most others. Dak still averaged over 8 ypa.
Gonna crush the Giants, like we did CIN and GB.
