check out the most recent issue of ESPN the Magazine where in the NFL section there is an article praising the effects of Victory Monday, where the team is given the following Monday off after a victory.
The line under the title says "How do teams survive a 17 week season? By taking the day off"
Since the institution of Victory Monday the Colts have compiled a 0.697 winning percentage in the later half of the season. Of course having someone called Payton on your team helps!

BUT Wade gives the team a Victory Monday and some of our esteemed media take that as an opportunity to make snide remarks that support the perceived softness of Wade as a coach
Hmmmmm

Guilty here - that is interesting about Indy though.

You get rewarded for winning, and sort of punished for losing. Seriously? Whats the big deal here? In a way its incentive. I don't see why anyone should get their panties in a bunch.
