This thread can get pretty righteous real fast if we all start telling Charles Haley stories.

Apparently he was drunk(allegedly) and rode his Harley into Randy White's bar and starting revving the engine. Then Randy White walked over and knocked him out cold. Would've loved to see that.

He's quicker then Spencer for sure, but Spencer plays more of a power rush game. Some of the other LB's there though were pretty darn quick too.

Yeh, watching Haley was kind of like watching some advanced kung-** master. That stutter step move to freeze the OLman so that you can then react looks a bit crazy. But Haley was one of the best. I'd love for Ware and Spencer to channel a little of that craziness on the field. LT had that too. Like you just didn't want to get hit by the guy. Ware and Spencer sack quarterbacks, but they could be a little rougher about it.

Charles never really got the credit he deserved for being a smart player. He was commonly known as a helluva pass rusher and a pain in the ***, but the guy was techically sound and he was incredibly smart and intuitive.

You notice this too? I get tired of seeing Romo roughed up while our defensive players are helping up opposing players after every tackle. Maybe they should add Haley to the staff as a special assistant to instill some aggression into our guys.
