Not much of a debate when it can't be proven. And yes he does leave his feet. Try not being so lazy and do some leg work of your own.

Ya, he didnt really leave his feet in the sense he dove and pulled him down. God forbid you make a tackle in the NFL now. I'm sorry is a saftey runs you down from behind and pulls you down that should be legal. Dont want him to "horse collar" you then run faster.

Is it just me or couldn't that same injury have happened if Roy grabbed both shoulders and pulled down in the same manner, i.e. he didn't use the pad? Once again, I will reiterate: this rule - if it passes - is stupid.

I agree it is a bad rule and if not mistake I think it did pass. All I hope for at this point is that it is called fairly and consistently. So many of the rules that get implemented seem to be called differently from game to game and week to week.

we're gonna see what we saw last year with new "Defensive Holding", in preseason teh falgs wered everywhere, but when the season got here they went down. Once teams start to get the feel for how there called then the pently wont get called as much
