If you are following the drama that is unfolding with the Boston Red Sox, the fact that Hernandez is chewing on a piece of chicken is quite funny (and you can see his smirk during the interview).
Turns out, during the epic collapse of the Sox this season, a number of the starting pitchers (during their off days) would be in the clubhouse drinking beer, eating fried chicken and playing video games....during the actual baseball game. The fried chicken aspect is hilarious because it was painfully obvious that the pitchers were not in the best of shape during the season. During the interview (not sure it was in the linked video), Hernandez tells the reporters to not worry because his chicken was healthy.
