Chris Carter is all over it in here. It's not about routes. The thing these rookie WR's have to learn is when to make adjustments depending on what the defense does from play to play.

Where did he say anything about routes? Hasselbeck did, and he said the same thing you did. They have to learn when to break off their routes depending on what the defense does.

I never said he did.

The idea was that most young WR's have trouble making big contributions to their offenses because they can't be trusted by the QB's and OC's to know when and where to make adjustments in game.
