Chris Carter: Romo could be NFL MVP in 2010

Seems like Chris Carter is finally coming around to his senses...

There is no doubt in mind this is possible. If the offense can put up better scoring numbers this season and domainate some games on National TV Romo will be in the mix for the MVP award.

I agree but I do hope with all these predictions that the Cowboys remember back to a BP saying "Don't eat the cheese"

uggh.

enough already with the praise. Please go back to last year when they ignored us!!

That's nice but I would rather pick up SB title #6. and add to this count. :lombardi:

If Romo wins the MVP award that means Dallas will go deep into the playoffs, which would make me verrrrrry happy!

He should have won it back in '07 if it wasn't for that freakish season Tom Brady had.

My God, that's almost as damning as a Chris Berman prediction.

Make it stop !

dc buddy, i have said that in january, this team will be most explosive ever, even setting some records and outdoing 2007 season in scoring. This will allow our defense to tee off on qbs, and tear them to pieces with more interceptions, and our special teams with kickoff returns and punt retunrs will be more explosive with titus ryan, mccann, ogletree and dez.

mark it down buddy;

i see us having a year like the year, in 2007 or when we beat indy in dallas and indy went on to set records, and win the superbowl. We will be like indy that year, scoring and feasting on teams with our defense.

Maybe we should wait till his next contract is signed before he wins it. Sounds like a cheaper contract without the MVP thingy. I bet that alone adds a few mill over the life of a contract. Were starting to get a boat load of stars, we aint going to be able to pay em all when the calendar says time to reup em all.

I dont mind him winning it, but I am liking the team make up and would hate to see Spencer or Felix leave cause we cant sign em.

He was an MVP candidate last year in my mind.

Outside of the monster year Brees had, Romo did everything right, and was easily our teams most valuable player.

Romo makes this thing go, he's the reason we're even talking about the Super Bowl again in Dallas.

People forget where we were before he took over.

I hope the Cowboys don't remember anything "BP" says. It's amazing how many people quote this guy who did next to nothing while he was here.

The potential is there, but it all falls on the game to game performance of the OL...the OL will make us or break us.

Bill said that like 3 years ago?? I think by now it's OK to take a little bite of it, wouldn't you say?

I aree. A lot of folks forget even though we had a reminder when he was out those 3 games in '08. Without Romo, this team get's obliterated by a 3-13 Rams team. Some people don't realize exactly where this team would be without Romo. It would not be pretty or fun.
