Faulk, Deion and Mooch discuss Tony Romo

By dcfanatic, December 4, 2009 5:27 am

Marshall Faulk and Deion Sanders. You guys are definitely not getting a Christmas Card from me. Moochie, you not only get a card but there will also be a nice bottle of something coming your way...

Faulk just wants to see the Cowboys do something before he can believe they can get their act together in December with Romo at the helm.

Moochie is a positive guy who was a QB coach so of course he's rooting for Romo and the Cowboys.

I loved seeing Eisen take Deion to task on the Romo can't be 'the guy' all of a sudden. Tony Romo is that type of QB and in time I truly believe that his full set of skills as a leader will shine through. He's still fairly new as far as being a starting NFL QB so he's coming along and he's also got plenty of time to make it happen.

But Deion and his constant BS about this team missing Terrell Owens is just a joke. The player that Terrell Owens is today is not the player he was back in 2006 or 2007. Player get old and they are not as good as they once were.

Deion had this very thing happen to him, but he's such an egomaniac he won't admit that this 'friend' is now an average NFL WR who can be shut down.

And here's the evidence Mr. Sanders...

You don't know how happy I was in seeing this big mouth shut down all night then seeing him come out at the presser and make a fool out of himself by once again blaming everyone else because he could not produce on the field.

And that last play is gold. Darrelle Revis just throwing Owens around like a rag doll. Classic!

As if I needed yet one more reason to detest meIon $ander$! :bang2: :bang2: :bang2:

Now that Joey Theesmann isn't around, Deion has taken his place as the mediot I hate the most.

They keep blaming the Cowboys not winning in December on Tony. I'm getting sick and tired of that. I admit I've been very critical of Romo, but give me a break!. It's been 3 full seasons with Romo, give him a chance. it wasnt all his fault for the December woes. I would expect a bunch of ex coaches and players to understand the game a little better. It seems like once they're out of the game they turn into fans just like everybody else. Look at some of the comments they make....HORRIBLE.

Is this their new meme, then? That Tony Romo is not the type of QB that can "carry a team"? Jeezis. I think that's even worse than the "December" cries. At least December has a basis in reality. He's been carrying the team since he broke on the scene. Drew Brees couldn't win with a defense that continually let him down, either - he threw for 5,000 yards and missed the playoffs.

Also it was fun watching T.O. make absolutely no effort whatsoever to go up for the jump balls Fitzpatrick was throwing him. Good grief do I remember that. On the first breakup they show, T.O. stops looking back for the ball and glances at his feet, like he's afraid he's about to trip over a threshold or something. Unreal.

It is becoming increasingly difficult to hate on the Cowboys without looking like a complete fool. After we kick in the gents teeth it will be even harder. I wonder what the haters will focus on next?

All I know is there better be a HUGE parade for Tony Romo if by some chance they come out of Dec 3-1, then a playoff victory. There better be a long line of crow eaters if this happens. I better not hear ONE WORD about ANYONE else on the team getting ANY props. No defense, no miles, no choice, no witten, NOBODY.

The credit all better go to Romo if everyone "thinks" it's only "him" that folds in December. The whole damn team has folded.

I am not the biggest Romo guy either, but, like has been stated, give the guy a friggin chance, or a break IMO. There is enough blame to go around why in December they suck. And it's been BEFORE Tony as well. So **** Peion.

Last I checked, Romo did not play any position on defense. I think this is the biggest piece of trash I have ever heard that crew utter.

No QB in history, especially not Drew Brees as in their example has ever done it by themselves.

Think about it, the minute Tony Romo replaced Drew Bledsoe, this team instantly changed to a much better team. That is the mark of not a good player, but a GREAT player.

C'mon man!

People forget what Romo was... An undrafted free agent QB, so to expect him to be Dan Marino or John Elway is foolish.
