The Cowboys offense really took a hit when Felix Jones went down for the season after only playing in six games.

Let's just hope he can get back in 2009 and help this team establish a dominant running game.

Jason Garrett has to use the running game more effectively in the future because one of his biggest criticisms was that he panicked at times and starting forcing the passing game too much.

Get healthy Felix!

Felix is one of my favorite players. I'm telling you, other teams would take this guy and build their offense around him.

The Cowboys ran it 42% of the time in 2008. I would say that they would like to get that number up around 45-46%.

I have to disagree with Tinker on the defense "not showing up until week 10".

They held these teams to this:

Arizona 17
Green Bay 16
Cleveland 10
Tampa Bay 9

They won three of those games and should have won them all.

I just want that injury to Felix to heal up right. Get that man back on the field though because he's a true difference maker...

And just to think that one year ago, everyone was sure that guy was an awful draft pick and did not have first round talent.

Our offense is designed to take what the defense gives us. Nobody panicked and didn't stick with the run. Even our checkdowns were modified this year to give us additional passing options at the line.

There were a few games where the running game plan wasn't good. Washington I was one of these. And maybe the offense could be modified to put defenses in positions we can run against, but we went into the season with a dominant passing game that worked. Injuries, dissent, and 4 killer defenses in a row derailed it, but that doesn't mean that the plan wasn't a good one.

You got that right. I'm ray: that he just heals up properly, first of all. He should, but you still hope he truly gets back to 100% with zero complications.

It's early, but I still think Felix might be a special player, unlike the other two backs. We only have a couple of special players on this team, and he could be another one.
