I think he was just trying to send a message to the Dad. What kind of idiot brings a baby to a tennis match in the first place? Why not leave the seating area when the baby started crying? Some people have no respect for others.

Stupid, but it isn't as if he hit it with any great force or even aimed specifically at the child. He looks bad and someone gets a souvenir. I've seen worse and more hazardous things such as the Giant player throwing his helmet into the stands this past season.

How else are you going to get the kid over to grandma's house?

What is the point of taking them to a tennis match? I don't really care either way. Tennis and golf are two sports where the fans have to be quiet. Always seemed weird.

Silly post Dooms. I take it you don't have any children that you know about, huh?

Im certain you never once cried or had outburts as a child.

Stand in front of those glass houses and throw your rocks, I say.

With my parents in public, NO.

Sorry if I find that irritating and if that upsets you then too bad. Many other people feel the same way.

I agree. Unfortunately, air travel can be a necessity. Going to a tennis match is not.

I understand that and in many cases parents will try to comfort their child to keep it to a minimum. Others sit there and do nothing and expect that the other passengers should accept it. I guess when you get down to it I don't have a problem with the child I have a problem with the idiot parent.

Exactly. It's one thing if the parent is respectful enough to the people being subjected to the noise to quiet the baby, or leave the area, but dumb parents who sit there should be shot. I've seen parents just laugh, like we all think their lack of parenting skills is funny.

You keep mumbling under your breath. We all know what would happen the 1st time you or anyone else raised a ruckus over someones child. ;)

BTW: If anything is ever said..its usually never done around the father. The mom...yes....cowards operate like that, but never while the father is around.

I've seen just the opposite.

You don't know me and sorry not afraid to tell a man or a woman to control their kid. As I said I have no problem with the kid it is the idiot parent who sit and does not do a damn thing.

You don't have to believe me and not trying to be some tough guy I'm more than willing to ask politely I don't care if the father is there or not. What is that suppose mean? Not looking for a fight but I have never backed down from one either. Most of the time if your willing to be polite people are willing to do what they can, for those who have no respect for others and sit there and do nothing while their kid is going off like an alarm I no problem being more demanding.
