The dad wasn't trying hard enough to calm the baby down if that "warning shot" quieted him down. The dad finally took the hint and took care of it, he should have done that earlier.

Funny how that works.

I went to lunch with two friends. Two of us had small kids, the other guy didn't. After our lunch at this restaurant, we left, and the guy who didn't have kids looked at my buddy and I and said "I can't believe that kid crying at the table next to us, I could barely finish my lunch".

My buddy and I looked at him and said at the exact same time "What kid"?

It really shows the conditioning of parents and non parents.

He shouldn't have done it, but I get where he's coming from.

If your kid's crying and you can't control them...get up and get them out of there.

Have some respect for other people.

Don't think just because you have a kid that I'm there to listen to it.
