The Star Wars Battlefront II character being used is a called an ARC (Advanced Recon Commando) Trooper. It is a Reinforcement, which is a classification above regular troopers and below Heroes/Villains. The character comes standard with built-in advantages over regular troopers such as:
  • dual blaster pistols (double firepower)
  • a base health of 350 (150 points over the toughest trooper [Heavy])
  • extensive helmet radar setup (ID's enemies for the player and teammates)
  • 'shock traps' (zaps enemies off their feet and momentarily stuns them)
  • a one-shot Power Blast alternative setting, which can take out enemies from across an ENTIRE map (if line of sight is not blocked) AND severely damage heavy vehicles in quick fashion

These suckers are difficult to defeat fighting them at ground level.

So, what does a cheater do?

Answer: exploit a hack allowing you to stand in mid-air HIGH above the map where starships fly

Takes the fun out of it. Now, if everyone has access to it like a special map or setting for everyone is in play, then fine.

I prefer having all of the cheats at the beginning of a game, and then, as my skill increases, using less and less of the cheats.

I like to start on the highest level of difficulty and learning to beat it that way.

I fail most of the time, and have to take it back a notch. Depending on the type of game it is hard to beat it on the most difficult setting when you don't know the controls, gameplay, etc

Not gonna lie, my friend and I would do a wallhack glitch in BF4 where it took two players to get in the wall. We would setup a spawn point in there and just blast a million people over and over. It was good fun. You can shoot out, but they can't shoot in.

After I found the "Immunity Code" for the Playstation Medal of Honor, I enjoyed blasting the enemy with unlimited grenade launchers.

But even that got old after awhile.

I think there is a gray area here for me. I'm against cheating in public games as it definitely ruins the experience. However, I'm ok with a little innocent cheating, i.e. using a money hack code in SimCity. Or, I remember back in the day when I beat the original Doom, I went back through the game using the God Mode. :D I think little stuff like that is fine but you will definitely never find me cheating in any kind of public match.
