Give us your top five NFC teams in 2010

Who are the top teams in the NFC that will challenge the Saints...

I say the following...

Saints will not be the best team in the NFC next season. The Packers will win 10+ games. The Vikings will make the playoffs. The Cowboys will have home field throughout the playoffs.

If we get home field we are going to be scary good! Because that schedule is scary tough! I don't see it, but I hope it happens. I wouldn't be shocked if we win the division at 10-6.

If Brett Favre returns...

1. Cowboys
2. Vikings
3. Saints
4. 49ers
5. Packers
6. Falcons

If he doesn't...

1. Cowboys
2. Saints
3. Packers
4. 49ers
5. Falcons
6. Vikings

The Packers will finish ahead of the Vikings in their division this year with or without Favre. Book it.

I have the Cowboys as #1 and next four spots also the Cowboys because their greatness eclipses everyone else in the magnitude of 4 other teams.

Lots of love for the niners there. I'd put the Pack and Falcons ahead of them for sure.

...Thinking more about it I guess I don't disagree with you a whole lot...but am starting to think the NFC is pretty weak this year.

1. New Orleans (the old adage, best until proven otherwise)
2. Minnesota
3. Dallas
4. Green Bay
5. New York (I think they'll be back next year, and have had our number most recently)

If they win the NFC West, they'd be no lower than a 4 seed, which is exactly what I have there. The division winners and the wildcards.

1. Saints
2. Vikings
3. Cowboys
4. Niners
5. Packers
6. Falcons

The Saints are the Champs...until they are knocked off, they are the top dog. The Vikings raped us in the playoffs, so I put them above us. At the end of the day though, I strongly feel the Boys will climb to the top of the mountain.....

Oh I think they'll probably win the West...but that doesn't mean they are a top 6 team in the conference IMO.

1) Dallas Cowboys
2) Green Bay Packers
3) New Orleans Saints
4) San Francisco 49er's (based on winning their division. I don't think they're the 4th best team)
5) Minnesota Vikings
6) N.Y. Giants or Atlanta Falcons (haven't decided yet)

WEAK????? I think just the opposite. The NFC is stacked and is better than the AFC. I think Dallas, Green Bay, Minnesota, and New Orleans are all at least as good as ANY AFC team. I think the only AFC team that is as good is Indy and possibly Baltimore.

  1. Saints- Defending World Champs, 'nuff said...
  2. Vikings- With Favre are going to be extremely tough...
  3. Cowboys- Has to be chomping at the bit to prove they are championship caliber...
  4. Packers- They have enough pieces to consider themselves elite...
  5. Giants- They will bounce back and become a contender this year...

To me, that is exactly what it means. The 6 playoff teams are the top 6 teams.

1. Saints - NFC Champions and Super Bowl champs should be No. 1 until someone knocks them off.
2. Vikings - Because they beat the Cowboys.
3. Cowboys - Spencer, Dez will make this team better, but kicking game, safety and LT questionable.
4. Packers - Can't give up 51 points in the playoffs and Ryan Grant aint all that special
5. NY Giants - Defense will be better.

i think that the falcons and giants will be the wild cards if farve does not come back (which we all know he will) i do not think the vikings will make the playoffs. there schedule is tough and with jackson at qb i do not know if they will score enough points to compete in the nfc. the packers defense might be a question mark if they play the way they did in the playoff loss. then again they did not lose anyone in there starting lineup
i also think the giants will be back in the playoffs to much talent not make the playoffs two years in a row. heck with our schedule as tough as it is i would not be surprised if the cowboys get in as a wildcard. it will be tough to win the division this year. the only thing holding the falcons back is there defense. the niners schedule is easy to win eleven games if smith the qb plays as well as he did the last six games. there defense is pretty good but it does not have a great pass rush.

Biggens, I like your sig. I think they'll be money in the red zone this year. Roy turned it on down there late last year.
