Video: Jamie Dukes just don't know football

What is annoying is the vapid and ridiculous conclusions they come up with for the sake of being negative. Honest and thoughtful analysis (which you would hope to get from "experts") are very rare,, all we get are freaking stupid parsing of words and insults. That might be entertaining to the low-brow Jerry Springer crowd but I get nothing from it,,, even when they are insulting teams and players I don't like. It's petty and stupid and apparently a "key element" that producers want in their shows,,, sure paints an ugly picture of the general public.

Exactly. I don't mind when they criticize when it's warranted. But to dig for things to dwell on, like picking apart Tony's interview, is grasping for straws.

Fair enough. And I agree with you. But the praise is just as ridiculous. The vague statements like "Aaron Rodgers is the real deal..." and comments like that are also there. I've had this debate with another poster on this site and he shut it down and maybe he's right but my view of these "experts" is they have 16 games to watch a week. There's no way they're watching all of these games like fans do of their respective teams so their view of the Cowboys is skewed.

I won't lie. I watch BSPN. I watch NFL Network when I can. But I don't watch for the accurate analysis. I honestly watch to hear these analysts eat crow on some of their dumb opinions. I enjoyed watching the guys at BSPN say the Cowboys are the best in the NFC East after their prediction in the offseason of the Cowboys being the worst and having a 8-8 team.

i would think the proper "professional NFL analyst" job would be to talk about and analyze his play thus far into the season when trying to come to a educated guess as to what they think think Romo will do for the rest of the season ...opposed to breaking down an interview piece by piece and trying to create a different problem with every sentence....and discussing years past.....the calendar has nothing to do with it.....

Has anyone noticed that NFLN is selling out their professionalism for more ratings ala ESPN. I remember last year Jamie Dukes seemed pretty level-headed when giving his opinion on the Cowboys and making more sense overall. So I think they wanted an ESPN type of formula by giving a couple of their guys the "Cowboys hater gimmick".

I Am Outraged!
Me too! If we don't get Jamie Dukes on the bandwagon, we may as well just give up on the season!
