Jamie Dukes is hollering and stuff like Chris "Mad Dog" Russo. Usually those hollering the loudest know the least.

I used to like Dukes. He used to be pretty easy going and called things as they appeared. Now he is nothing but a hyperbolist. Maybe NFL Network isn't paying enough and he is trying to get ESPN's attention.

I cannot begin to tell you how much I hate hearing about the post-December collapse and how the Cowboys haven't won a playoff game since Moby Dick was a minnow.

Even though Romo has to prove me wrong for me to change his mind on him, I'd really like to see him do so if anything so we can stop hearing it. Of course, the media will come up with something new like 'well, they only won 1 playoff game in the last 13 years!'

That being said I've accepted the fact that we're just going to hear this from the media until the team proves differently. And the fact remains if the situation was reversed and say the Eagles had a history of post December collapses we would be constantly talk about it as well.

The 'pointing of the fingers' I hope he includes himself and Garrett in that soundbyte. One of the things that greatly disappointed me last year was both Garrett and Romo at times passed the blame. Forget about Owens for a second, both Garrett and Romo passed blame amongst each other last season. I remember the week 4 game against the Skins where Garrett just blamed Romo for not running the ball. Then later on Romo blamed Garrett for the pass protection schemes.

It *seems* like we're getting much less of that, particularly on the defensive side of the ball. But everything about Romo and the Cowboys come December will be questioned unless they prove the critics wrong.

I saw this before. They sound and look so dumb that it's embarassing.

He is always trying to find something that makes him look more clever then the others. But in the end he is annoying and looking dumb.

I don't watch this guy anymore.

Oh, wait, I can catch the WHOLE interview on Sunday??? You mean EVERYTHING? Not just excerpts that you pull out to make fun of??? What a freakin' idiot. Holy crap, Ed Werder, you just got off the hot seat. Oh, and by the way, anyone interested in Jamie Dukes illustrious pro career??

Jamie Donnell Dukes (born June 14, 1964 in Schenectady, New York) is a former American football offensive lineman who played for the Atlanta Falcons, the Green Bay Packers, and the Arizona Cardinals of the National Football League. Dukes was an undrafted free agent in 1986 upon entering the NFL. (in 1986, there was 12 rounds in the draft)

Dukes began his career with the Atlanta Falcons in 1986 as #64 playing center and played this position until 1994 when he went to Green Bay. At Green Bay his number changed to #63. In 1995, Dukes went on to play at Arizona completing his career playing in 124 games, and starting 62.

Also, here is what pro-football-reference.com ranks Dukes: Career AV: 36 (2412th overall since 1950)

And in comparison to others in the round table:

Deion Sanders: Career AV: 114 (53rd overall since 1950)
Marshall Faulk: Career AV: 133 (19th overall since 1950)

Kind of makes me glad I don't have NFLN.
Everything I see posted is like a circus. Forget any subjectivity about the team, these guys are just awful in every way; over dressed clowns, with shining lights and make-up. This has nothing at all to do with football.

Well, NFLN is way better than ESPN though. ESPN is plain unwatchable. There usually never a positive thing about Cowboys on ESPN. Besides ESPN tries to make news and not present the news.

Exactly this! Back when they had Put Up Your Dukes, he was watchable and I enjoyed him. Now he's just ridiculous.

So does NFLN. They have a Jamie Dukes and Marshall Faulk constantly making stupid comments just for controversy.

Skip Bayless> those 2 jokers.

No comments about Sapp criticizing Romo?

He was gettin on him hard about his "I don't know comment" when he was asked what it takes to win a Super Bowl.

So if BSPN doesn't say anything good about the Cowboys they suck? Look, everyone is not going to like the Cowboys. And frankly, what have the Cowboys done to deserve praise? Eagles and Giants are getting thrashed as well. Only ones catching love is Saints, Colts and Vikings and I really can't say its undeserving. They've been great. If Cowboys win in this December? There's nothing anyone can say about us. But even then I could careless. The players don't care so why should I?

It's funny that they were saying the fans were going to have a problem with this statement, but I really don't think it's as huge a thing as they are trying to make it.

I have no issue with it, because as a person with a brain, I can understand what Tony is trying to say.

I have watched a few online games at nfl.com with them streaming the game using the NFL Network telecast and they are not only annoying but for long stretches during the game the camera is showing them talking instead of the game, even while big plays are being made on the field but you can't see it for them going on and on about things other than the game in progress. Viewers miss nerly half the game with them talking instead of showing the gamw. They seem to think it's all about them but it should all about the game in progress. Infuriating is a more accurate word than irritating.

I used to want to get NFL Network on satellite but now I no longer want it.

The look on Sapps face is priceless and pretty much sums up what Dukes is about.

Yeah listening Tom Jackson and lame Keyshawn doesn't cut it either, but it's really not even about Dallas. It's a freak show, no matter what they're talking about. It doesn't relate to football, football is secondary, with their primary concern being their own loud mouths and shiny suits. It's truly awful.

Does football really require too many loudmouths pretending to scrutinize it? Just have one guy giving us the general low down and be done with it.

What is annoying is the vapid and ridiculous conclusions they come up with for the sake of being negative. Honest and thoughtful analysis (which you would hope to get from "experts") are very rare,, all we get are freaking stupid parsing of words and insults. That might be entertaining to the low-brow Jerry Springer crowd but I get nothing from it,,, even when they are insulting teams and players I don't like. It's petty and stupid and apparently a "key element" that producers want in their shows,,, sure paints an ugly picture of the general public.
