Keith is a team first do what it takes to help the team guy. I wish we had more like him. Say what you want about his ability as a safety, but he makes up for it as a special teamer.

When Miami cut him, I was RELIEVED that we got him BACK.

I never liked him at FS, but I've always liked this guy...period. Hopefully, he'll get more guys to step up as the course of the season goes along, especially if Wade can't.

Keith Davis wasn't so bad when he was taking over for Roy in the last 2 or so games. Only reason I don't think he had a bad two games was because I didn't hear his name being called often and that is usually a good thing for safetys.

He did ok filling in for Roy last year too when Roy got suspended.
I really can't believe so many people didn't want him back, we need more players like him not less

The problem is that before when he played safety for Parcells, he was playing Free Safety because RW was the strong safety. However, he's playing Strong Safety now which was always his position.

Watkins has a disk issue. I've heard nothing about Davis' having any kind of injury.

I agree. That's the only place to really put him and get a fair shot at a decent game. Right now I'm not certain if he isn't the best SS on the team which speaks reams.
