No his attitude change started the day we signed owens.

He is a part of that espn 1033 click and they have their agenda for the year all set in stone and that is to be negative in all aspects.

I am so dissapointed in laufenberg, I loved him on the radio and now he just takes shots all the time at the team.

I think he feels a little betrayed like I do by parcells for bringing in owens, it is more fun to beat guys like him than to win with them.

At the end of the day though something has made laufenberg change, maybe he didnt get enough money offered to come back to the radio broadcast and he is bitter or something. either way I am dissapointed I like laufenberg, he is smart and knows the game really well.

I think Babe's attitude might have a little something to do with the fact that he wasn't retained as color commentator when KTCK bought broadcasting rights. I don't think its all about T.O.

Just like it wasn't all about the Jimmy firing with Dale Hansen.

i agree with you, still seems kind of childish, you think his producers would tell him to stop making it personal???

Yep I believe that too. SOmething changed. I think it sucks that babe isnt on the broadcast anymore. Charlie is going to be great though, he did a great job with the pregame show.

I have talked to many people about this but no one really knows. Babe and steve dennis were guests a bunch of times on the ticket and I think something happened there, gordon keith and the musers made fun of them constantly after they came on and steve dennis if I remember correctly had some bad things to say about the ticket. Then steve dennis gets hired by espn when newy quit and babe and brad sham are always on the air there.

So to me it almost seemed like a conflict of interest of sorts for babe, his whole media click is the espn crew and he had some conflict with the ticket, so going to work for the ticket just seemed impossible right now for him.

Having said that, it could just have been money and not enough of it for him to come back and be affiliated with the ticket and not be able to go on espn 1033.

Either way, I hope he focuses on the football game like he always has when the season starts and not the nonsense that jen engle, mac engle, randy galloway, chuck cooperstein and the rest of the flunkies at espn 1033 are looking to stir up. Laufenberg is too good to take that route in my opinion.

THanks man, I know what it is like I only moved here 4 years ago so I can appreciate the out of towners starving for something cowboys!!!!!

I am working on a terry glenn video. I have every catch as a cowboy cut out and am trying to figure out where I want to go with it, the music and how I went to present it!!!!

Yeah, I think it was probably a money issue more than anything myself.

A few summers ago when the Boys were holding training camp at the Alamodome Babe sat right beside me to watch practice near the pressbox. I had a print out of the roster and he leaned over to see who the number of some spare player who made a nice catch and we talked for a good 45 minutes, even after practice was over, about being a QB in the NFL and what it takes to succeed (this was during the QC vs. Hutch era). He told me about how he and Troy roomed together at camp and on the road, and how fans will never know how tough emotionally those first couple of years were on Troy or how close to crumbling he was before Norv came along. Super, super nice guy. I can't help but think this new persona is schtick for ratings, and to be the Dallas media's ying to the Ticket's yang.
