Over the last 23 years I have seen every Cowboys game played so I know I was watching this game. But for some reason the memory of this event isn't really hitting me like it should...

If someone out there has this thing on tape let me know. I want to hear Madden talking about Nate eating a Snickers bar during the game.

Good shot to of the end of the Drew Pearson 'Hail Mary' catch. I had forgot that Drew turned and threw that ball into the stands after the TD.

I remember this incident like it was yesterday.

I remember the cameras showing the Snickers wrapper on the ground and Madden was jokingly saying it was probably Big Ol' Nate Newton.

It's one of those deals where I think I remember it, but I want to hear it again so I can refresh the memory.

I really miss Madden and Summerall doing the Cowboys Sunday afternoon games.

Yep, I do remember this. I remember laughing. I remember reading about Snickers sending Nate some candy bars. One of the great Madden moments.

Somebody in that stands owns a great piece of sports history/memorabilia - the football thrown on the first "hail Mary". I just hope it was a Cowboys fan!
