He did ..... but his receivers were having problems getting open.

"Late game mistakes" If Werder really wants to put that pick on Romo at the end of the Giants game, he's letting everyone else on that team off easy. Romo was one of our better players that game.

And that draw is money. Pass to set up the run, and then do work.

While I am a supporter of Romo I can see how Ed puts this "sphit" together

Romo drops hold = we lose
Romo throws INT = we lose

Both are facts of the games. Romo's last play ended the games.

IF Romo had held and we kick FG = we may win.

IF Romo throws TD instead of INT = we win game.

So.... unlike Werders other reports etc... he is not off on this. Romo's last actions cost us those games.

THe Seattle game I agree with partially. I still and will always believe Witten got that first down and if I can remember correctly they either ruled it a first or didn't rule that he didn't get it. Terry Glenn's fumble(which was questionable call) and our defenses inability to stop the Seahawks late in that game assisted heavily in losing that game.

As for the Giants game, there is no way I can blame Romo for that. That last INT was a desperation throw from about the 25 yard line. The blame that day goes to poor tackling by our secondary on Toomer's TD, Jacque Reeves getting burnt like toast on the Giants drive to tie the game right before halftime and Fasano and Crayton dropping passes that could have been TD's.

Exactly, but he doesn't get that he was responding to a convo about the Giants game with a post about Pete Hunter.

And...had Romo not started the 2006 season as 2nd string, he probably wouldn't have been the holder on that botched fieldgoal attempt. If I remember correctly, Romo played pretty well in that game from a QB perspective.

Alright Guru. When the Saints fail (like they did HORRIBLY down the stretch) and Brees doesn't win anything (like he never has), you'll get over your obsession of Romo. Maybe.

You being a Saints fan doesn't. And if you truly expect me to believe that you actually think that, you must think my intelligence level is on your low par. It's not.

Yeah I hear you. I certainly know its a team sport and plenty of plays during the game could have went our way BUT... the context I am explaining is that last play was Romo in game 2. Prior to that he had an intentional grounding, then Crayton didnt hall in that pass.

So, last play was Romo and that is why he gets nailed for it.

Don't forget the biggest blame...the O-line collapsing in the second half which caused that desperation throw in the first place. I remember seeing Romo being swarmed by G-ain'ts before he threw that last pass. Also on that Fasano drop, I think we still scored on that drive, or perhaps I'm thinking of another game.

We got a field goal on that drive to go up 17-14 but it could have been 21-14 which puts more pressure on the Giants IMO.
