I wish I could get that in an avi format. Or find a way to squeeze it to an avi I could then edit with...

I need to get doctor 32 on the case....

I also wish I could just run the usb from my hd dvr to rip the game...Directv has a new deal this year where they will simulcast your games on the internet, I have to find out if that is an hd feed.

oh and thanks for the link, I have never used a torrent but I think I am going to this year, i would like to edit and make highlight vids in HD.

It is easy to convert h.264 to avi. I am in the same boat with my DirecTV HR20 in that it does not support usb.

easy to convert and keep the same quality? I need to use an avi with dv codec, I edit in avid xpro. you can not edit in a delivery format which is what all of these are in.

So what do you use to convert it? I have sorensen squeeze along with a number of others, I may even be able to convert it in vegas....

I do this all the time and recently downloaded and converted the game from H264 format (MKV container) to AVI.

BS Player used to be my gold standard but lately I've been using VLC more and more.

For those of you not around last year there is a great site that has rips of the games. The site is www.tenyardtorrents.com.

I did not create this rip because my DVR is not cool ;) but there are always guys on the site that provide high quality rips. If the game is nationally televised someone always provides a HD rip.

Register and you can get any of our games this year.

For those of you who like Windows Media Player there is a cool site that will give you all the codecs you need including Quicktime and Real. I use Media Player over VLC because I watch a lot of streaming content and this pack allows me to use one player for everything.

Here is the site:
http://www.codecguide.com/

Download the Full pack and you will never have to worry about audio/video in Media Player again.

utorrent if you're on a pc, transmission if you're on an apple.
