What will TO say about THAT!

It was a 1st and Ware, plus I think a 3rd. No receiver is worth that.Apollo Creed;2637186 said:Jerry was trying to make some moves to get up and take Calvin. Lions were asking for Witten or Ware, can't remember which one - as well as some serious picks.
Johnson was going to be great regardless of where he landed.

One thing I saw that I really liked though was during the Ravens game.
The entire game the crowd was silent for some reason. I guess all the ex Cowboys and the big Texas Stadium send off. It seemed like a tennis match, but when Roy caught that one pass for a first down late in the game he got real pumped and showed some real emotion. Really got the crowd into after that, and we started playing better.
On offense at least.

I think people harping on his performance last year need to get a grip. Just think for a minute about all the factors that go into working a guy into a passing game, developing trust, etc. I can see the disappointment, we all felt it - but geez give it a full offseason before taking a stand against the guy and the trade.
Romo, Witten, and Williams for the next 5 years. Can't complain.

Maybe I was watching those games with the sound off, because I don't think Aikman was anywhere near as critical of Roy as you suggest.Apollo Creed;2637638 said:I'd feel the same way, but I take everything Aikman says as close to the gospel. And I don't know if I heard anyone half as critical as Aikman on Roy. Called him out for poor routes, not a very high football IQ, and said he had a history of work ethic questions. Not just once, but every single time he called our games.
Especially considering Aikman has no ulterior motives, and typically calls things as he sees them regarding our franchise.
