I don't agree. I think it needs to stop being a fine not an eye for an eye.

I want the players to be able to play football. Just because Roy, or Chuck Cecil, or Hootie Blowfish got fined for similar hits in the past doesn't mean anything to me. I prefer not to go down that road. The only way to do that is not take the first step.

Sure, but the first, second, third, fourth, and fifth step have already been taken against Roy. Roy would get a flag and get fined for the exact same hit.

The precedent has already been set in the NFL. This hit should have drawn a flag and a fine based on precedent.

I said the same thing, that it was a helment to helment hit. Where Roy does it or not it is notice, however when a cowboy player is on the receiving end
it's a legal hit. That was an easy call but wasn't made.
