I have a buddy who is a D2 QB's coach and big time Cowboys fan. He says after watching tape on Romo he believes the reason for the often high throws and miss timing to Roy Williams is all due to Tony's lack of confidence in Williams and it's showing up in his release.
He claims you can clearly see a difference in Romo's mechanics when he gets ready to release the ball to Williams.
I'm not trying to put a negative spin on anything, I would just like to see if this is the case.
