Video: Romo getting physical down low

For all those who don't like him playing other sports...

Watch the spin he does off the low block to get the And-1.

Tell me that doesn't look like the spin he does to avoid a sack.

*Edit* After taking a second look, and reading a few comments, can we be sure that really is Romo?

Thats Romo. I dont really follow Basketball much but I do live in Wisconsin. Pretty sure he was runner up as MR Basketball here when he was in high school. Got beat out by the guy who went on to play for the Wizards, Caron Butler I believe.

True story.

I love the fact that Tony's a good athlete...and I have no problem with him golfing or going to Mexico for that matter. But basketball is a dangerous sport for a professional athlete in something else. I wish he wouldn't do it.

Are there any other celeb athletes there? If not that's gotta be pretty cool to just be a team of normal dudes and having Tony Romo on your team.

Obviously Romo to me... Didn't see anything hugely impressive in those clips, either. Don't get me wrong, I know Romo was/is a great basketball player, but I bet he can do more than that.

Wish Youtube had been around back when T-New was doing those windmill dunks the offseason after his rookie year. Now that was freaky.

I don't think anyone was comparing him to Michael Jordon...

Besides clearly seeing his face, look at his mannerisms, especially after that guy made a deep shot off Romo's assist/pass. His he did his touch down pass finger point. :lmao2:

I know most of these football players can probably play basketball or some other sport.

I know I shoot high school sports, and Jim Jeffcoat's son is a dominant basketball player at Plano West, as is a dominant football player going to Texas.

What's always funny is I saw an offensive lineman that went to a division 1 school, he was a center on one of those teams, the guy was pretty quick for a big dude, it just looked funny.

Exactly! One of the best athletes on the planet? Because he can play a few sports? I think not.

He's basically one of the worst athletes on the team.

For best athletes on the planet you'd have to look at Nate Robinson, Old Randy Moss, old Deion and a few others.

Nate Robinson? :laugh2:

Just because he has springs doesn't mean he's on Deion's level

Cowboys not long ago had a charity basketball team with many members on it. Guys can get hurt doing anything including training. Playing baseketball is a good work out for these guys and it is something they enjoy doing as well.

I didn't like that when they had like T.O. and Newman on it and I never will. BBall is just so cut oriented that it puts a lot of strain on ankles and knees. Just makes me nervous.

Ask Aaron Boone :laugh2:

You can ask allot of player about injuries away from the game it can happen no matter what they do. I have bigger issues with players hanging around bars and topless bars getting into trouble then a guy going out and playing a game of basketball, golf or any other sport. Seems to be more guys missing time over stupid things like that than being involved in sports activities.

It doesnt' matter what players are doing if they don't break the law imo...

As far as I know, no guy has ever torn an ACL looking at boobies

I totally agree with this, meaning if they are driving to the store, bad accident, injured.
