This is not the 2007 or 2008 Dallas Cowboys. Those teams were usually the young brother who is wilding out and sometimes coming out on top due to big plays in barnburner type games.
This 2009 team is now the big brother. They are the guy who keeps an eye out for opportunities and would rather be taught how to fish than just have you hand him one every time you get hungry.
Tony Romo is never going to be perfect. And that's what's right in this world because no one is perfect in anything they do in this world. But he's now poised and locked in on the big picture. Take a few chances and learn from them if they don't work and make them work the next time.
We saw a mature and patient football team tonight and I was in shock. And I can admit I was complaining. Come on Garrett! Throw the ball downfield and stop letting these 3rd and long situations come up. I was wrong.
This was a tie game at 13 and then an opportunity presented itself and the Cowboys pounced on it with a beautiful pump fake and then an even more beautiful pass to Miles Austin who took it for the game winning TD.
Damn that felt good! It felt so good to win that way. It felt good to watch this team grind and grind and not panic in a tough environment. It felt good to see Romo in the victory formation to close this thing out.
This was a team win. Wait, that's not enough. This was a team win in a hostile environment on the road in Philly against the hated Eagles who took their manhood last December. It tastes so very good right. That bird was cooked properly and I am going to eat as much as I can tonight in celebration.
Here's the post game show from NBC. I will be back tomorrow with about 6,000 videos/podcasts of everyone on the planet praising the 6-2 NFC East leading Dallas MOTHERTRUCKING Cowboys!

And now for the video that should have pigs flying within the hour...
