He just started off the segment by belittling Hurd vs Bailey. Then he said you don't send out a 'chump' to face Bailey on those plays.

He didn't call Hurd a chump directly. I am not defending what he said, my interpretation is that he would have called anyone who wasn't Larry Fitzgerald or Jason Witten a chump in going up against Champ Bailey on the last play of the game. That being said, my interpretation could be wrong, he could have had every intention of saying "Sam Hurd is a Chump". Just the way I interpreted it.

You're absolutely right. Jerry thinks that since he invested a bunch of draft picks on Roy Williams that our WR situation was solved: wrong. If anything we got swindled in the Williams trade, and it will take years for us to recover (just like it did on the Galloway fiasco). For some reason we are OK with drafting linebackers year in and year out yet all we can invest on receivers are 7th rounders and rookie free agents. It boggles my mind. Next year watch us draft yet another bust OLB.

I have no problem with Sam Hurd. He's a 4th WR and he shows a lot of effort. Patrick Crayton and Miles Austin are the ones who are killing me. Roy Williams hasn't played great, but people give him too much hell. That catch where he got leveled on Sunday was great.

Typical Key. I understand why Garrett did it but I'm not certain it was the right choice. They should have had Witten in the mix and kept max protection with Barber and Bennett. Funny thing is most people on this board were fine with our WR line-up heading into the season. Now the chorus is that Romo has no receivers. We'll which one is it?
