Jemele Hill is a genius by the way.

Just last week she was spouting off her sports knowledge by saying that Demarcus Ware should not have been given a contract extension.

Laughable how so many in the media comment on the quality of the Cowboys wins and igore the fact they team they feel is great has the same or less quality wins. I would argue Dallas is beating who they are supposed to beat and have only lost to quality teams. The Eagles can not say that. And for all the hype DeSean and McNabb are getting, I'd say Romo and the Cowboys have hit plenty down the field throws for any DC to be very concerned.

What is so bad about Hill's statements? She's right. You should wait until the season is over until you give Ware another contract. 4 sacks in 6 games is down for Ware. She has a point. I think the money was well spent on potentially the best defensive player in the league. But I don't think you can determine how intellect by those opinions. Especially since they aren't that far off base.

Aside from her frog-like features, her twitter entries are amazing. Ware is arguably one of the top three defensive talents in the NFL and he was approaching free agency. There's nothing crazy about his contract, comparatively speaking. He's the closest thing the NFL has to Lawrence Taylor these days. You just don't let a guy like that get a whiff of free agency. Ever.

How can she not see this through those bulging eyes?

I actually enjoy some of her work, but she's out in left field on this one.

first this is the extension he was supposed to get at the end of last year, so you have your strange end of year thing if you need it

second, you do realize it isnt all about sacks, right? also you do realize sacks come in bunches right? you dont soley base corners on interceptions do you?

Ware is one of the top 5 defensive players in the NFL, if youre not locking this guy up, who are you locking up
